Well, I just hoped the moment they felt they were awakened (by feeling the blood boil through their veins after seeing Yona) was the sign that the powers will stay for the rest of their lives as long as their master that they are meant to serve is alive.
Obviously I will understand, if the previous dragons have shorter life span since they have no master that they are meant to serve after all..
