What really confuses me is how no one in that universe thinks anyone actually gets stronger after time passes. Like everyone believes no one actually does any training. Everyone has their rank (whether they’ve won or lost a fight) and stays at the same strength. Then they get surprised, after they act all cocky, when they get beat up. You only see 2-3 people actively training, so maybe that’s just the way it is.
