“literally is solo leveling.” The the only reason they are similar is because the Ln for I am the sorcer king the came out before solo leveling. It’s clear that solo leveling got inspiration from I am the sorcer king. I mean it honestly doesn’t matter rather way, both are good.
yes the ln came out before the solo leveling webtoon (not certain its called that) but the ln or manwha came out before this it definitely took some inspiration from sl but i think your right about it not being a huge deal
Y’all are saying the plot of it sounds similar to solo leveling but the premise of solo leveling isn’t original, neither is working for a sick mom or being weak and getting pushed around before getting strong. Two things can have the same exact premise but in execution be completely different. I experienced this while reading “The Beginning After the End”. It sounded really similar to Mushoku Tensei but soon enough I realized that they weren’t all that comparable. I haven’t read yet but whenever this sort of thing happens I remind myself of this point.
