Bullsh*tery, thats all i can say about him outspeeding a master and being able to dodge and hit a critical point (the troat) at the same time. If its him being captured and using the moment that the Justice Sects arrived i would get this victory better. But overpowering a master of a sect like that is just plot arour so he wouldnt get killed. It was even showwed that he needed to use tricks and preparation, like poisonig, before being able to fight against one. And now he can magicaly do it? Naah, the author decided to ignore it and go full shounen mode 3/10 for this fanfic chptr
