Why stupid ? Because he chased someone that was not gonna give up because he detected him ? Honestly his biggest mistake so far , is something he said himself , he should have been patient and waited a bit more before breaking the legs of the bootlicker . But at least said mistake advance the plot instead of pointless training chapters
