This is a great plot point for rolan to gain more super powerful people to convert these talented assassin.
However i think I read in the novel author’s note that this kinda sidetrack from the main story which is fighting againts demon and also cause of time constraints this plot line was cut.
So it just became a minor side story to help nightingale get a bit closer to rolan. There will be no future assassins which is kinda sad.
