Don’t forget the important part , it’s not just that he was gone 3 years and they themselves probably improved …. it’s that’most of all , at first glance , he looked significantly weaker than 3 years ago . So yeah they all felt really bold . That part , i’ll admit is smarter than just the usual “how can a lvl 3 beat a level 5 !!!” , here they don’t just look like idiots judging a cover like 90% of the time , but (still dumb) people seeing someone out of the loop that weakened
