I’ve noticed in manhua lately that the family of the MC is always weak as hell. Like everybody saying sixth star rank was so powerful but if they were to step outside from their backwater town they would get killed instantly with their attitudes
ranks mean nothing in most manhuas except when convenient , and why it’s so often contradicting and confusing all the time. They could name any MC”s newest level and tier as something cool like “5th rank god warrior of the Sky” , pit him against the newest bigger villain with a level even cooler sounding , and as something rare , like “first rank god emperor of the sky” … and yet suddenly , as soon as MC will beat that guy , a hundred new guys will pop out everywhere as if “emperor of of the sky” was just the norm and everywhere . I get the idea of some boss just being “king of the small pond” , but when everyone next , even low ranked fighters , is 10 times that guy , it’s ridiculous and videogamey . Like fighting tons of lv 5 rabbits , switching region after a super lvl 10 big rabbit , and then you got the same rabbits except level 15
