While I usually don’t disagree with the MC’s decisions I feel like he could have just stopped at kicking their asses. Injuring them so they can’t cultivate will only bring him troubles later on. Or at least the dean won’t cause him troubles since he’s definitely there to steal one of their treasures
You must know that is was not long ago an immortal emperor so with his pride seeing these weak ass people talking down on him makes him annoyed so he’ll just beat they’re ass. And he know that they sect master or their leader knows his potential so they won’t do him any arm even after this. They want to keep him by their side so they have to do everything to protect him
Meh the whole “it’s because he got the mindset of immortal” is an excuse . He’s just doing the same thing than many MC in manhuas including mortal ones ,, killing or maiming at any kind of offense . nothing new here , and it’s supposed to look cool and domineering . Most times , it’s just a display of hypocrisy and psycho tendencies , but enough fans lap it up
