I believe that the power stages work differently in humans and in zombies with how powerfull it makes them, see it as the jujutsu kaisen sorcer system where a grade 1 sorcerer is always stronger then a grade 1 curse
I believe the stage 1-2-3-4 only gives u base stat increase, the energy that you store the abilities and the talent that you have also can boost your power up, so there is a difference between evolvers and monsters of the same stage. Let’s not forget that intelligent monsters are way stronger than their unintelligent versions. I know the bleach’s and one piece’s power scaling but I believe they actually do justice here, no need to hate.
so the thing is you get 1 ability at stage one related to your evolution type, then you get one stage 2, after that, you get better at controlling the virus itself. What tien cheng did was changing the virus spot line so he can control the virus even though he is still state 2, suz he the feels of it from his previous life and with 2 high level meteorite crystals and meteriote fragment sword he op as hell.
Also, humans also need to develop the immune system to contain the virus. But, as the zombies don’t need to do that they evolve faster and are stronger.
(the breathing technique is used to strengthen the immune system faster, therefore people practicing it grow faster.)
I think everyone here is forgetting his sword was 1/3 of his power and the 2 crystal he consumed was the other 2/3 thats what the whole 3 orb things was about he isnt even trying and is yet to pull out his sword.
hey wati, it’s not bs it is plot. im sure you forgot but it has been told in the previous chapters that zombie levels are weaker than human levels. A level 2 human can basically beat any level 2 zombie (or something like that)
