this is really new for a chinese manhua, they’re actually letting the side characters have a chance to grow not just in terms of power but also personality and mental state.
I don’t think i remember any manhua that lets the best friend characters grow like this.
Sure there’s a lot of cliches in terms of plot point and conflict but they’re not executed horribly and is still enjoyable.
