Convenient that seemingly the only technology they weren’t able to replicate with magic was a satellite. Either that or they didn’t bother looking at the city and seeing the half a kilometer long dragon that I doubt does much hiding. Sending in some of the most promising students in your country on a mission you have no idea the difficulty sure was a brilliant idea.
