The whole reason only Mo Fan and teach were allowed to bring the snake was because while it’s shedding its skin it is very paranoid. So why the fuck would it agree to be brought back to the lake? And why would it ever trust any of its worshipers if they’re too stupid to protect it or notice very obvious deceit?
