For instance, in the manga “An Incurable Case of Love”, the protagonist is able to regress to her past life in the Edo period after hitting her head. Similarly, in “Saiyuki”, the character Kougaiji regresses to his past life as a human to unlock his memories.
Moreover, in the manga “Orange”, the main character receives a letter from her future self and is able to change her past to change her future.
Furthermore, in the romance manga “See You in My 19th Life”, the two main characters are able to meet again in their new reincarnated lives after tragically losing each other in their 18th life. Likewise, in the supernatural manga “NG Life”, the protagonist regresses to his past lives whenever he falls asleep to solve mysteries.
In conclusion, the concept of Past Life Regression has been utilized in many manga through memories of characters’ past lives being awakened, letters from the future altering the past, reincarnation allowing lovers to reunite, and solving mysteries through accessing past life memories during sleep. Although a speculative idea, the possibility of reliving and even altering past events fascinates me. If given the opportunity, I would seize the chance to re-experience the day I was born to glimpse into the tranquility of the world at that time.
